Eligibility
- This contest is open to legal residents of Canada, including international students lawfully residing in Canada with a valid Canadian study permit, who meet all of the following criteria: they have reached the age of majority in their Canadian province or territory of residence and have completed an in-person or virtual tour with Knightstone Student Communities during the promotional period.
- Current leaseholders residing at that time in a property managed by Knightstone Student Communities, employees, representatives, and agents of Knightstone Student Communities and its affiliates, or any other entity involved in the development, production, administration or fulfillment of this contest, as well as the immediate family members of these individuals, are not eligible to participate in this contest. Immediate family members include parent, partner, spouse, sibling or child.

Prizes
- Uber Eats Gift Card (1) with an approximate value of $200 CAD.
- Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- There is a limit of one prize per person.
- No substitutions or cash redemptions will be permitted. In the case of unavailability of any prize, the unavailable prize may be substituted by a prize of equal or greater value. Gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the gift card issuer.

Promotional Period
- This contest runs during the promotional period. The promotional period begins on 2026-05-01 at 10:00:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) and concludes on 2026-05-31 at 11:59:59 p.m. (Eastern Time).
- Entries received after the promotional period will not be eligible for prizes.

How to Enter
- Complete either an in-person or virtual tour with Knightstone Student Communities during the promotional period.
- Only one entry per participant will be accepted. Duplicate or incomplete entries will be disqualified. No entries will be accepted other than as specified in these Rules. In the event an individual attempts to secure multiple entries in the prize draw by any means, they will be disqualified and prevented from entering any subsequent Knightstone Student Communities’ contests.
- All participants must provide accurate identifying information (full name, telephone number, and email address) in order to enter the contest and verify eligibility.
- Entries must be completed directly by the participants and not by any person or entity acting or purporting to act on the participant’s behalf. Automatic or robotic entries will be disqualified.
Alternative method of entry:
- An individual may enter the contest without completing an in-person or virtual tour with Knightstone Student Communities by submitting a mail-in entry with proper and sufficient postage to 45 St. Clair Avenue West, Suite 1001, Toronto, Ontario M4V 1K9. The entry must be written on a plain sheet of white paper and include: (i) a clear request to be entered in the contest; (ii) the individual’s full name; (iii) contact information (phone number, email address, and residential address); and (iv) an original essay of at least 25 words on the topic: “Why would you like to win a prize as part of the Uber Eats Gift Card contest?” All mail-in entries must be original (no photocopies or reproductions) and must be received before the end of the promotional period.
- An individual may enter the contest using only one method of entry, either by completing an in-person or virtual tour with Knightstone Student Communities or by using the alternative mail-in method described above. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in disqualification from the contest.

Prize Eligibility and Draw
- Eligible entrants will automatically be entered into the prize draw upon completing an in-person or virtual tour with Knightstone Student Communities during the promotional period.
- At the end of the promotional period, a winner (a “selected entrant”) will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
- Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
- Selected entrants will be required to correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question without aid or assistance of any kind.
- Selected entrants will also be required to complete a declaration and release form confirming, among other things: (i) compliance with these Rules and acceptance of the applicable Prize as awarded without substitution; (ii) release of Knightstone Student Communities, its affiliated and related companies, prize suppliers, advertising and promotional agencies, and each of their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, licensees, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all liability in connection with this contest; and (iii) agreement to the publication, reproduction, and/or other use of the entrant’s name, address, statements about the contest, and/or photograph or other likeness, without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or promotion carried out by Knightstone Student Communities in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast, or the Internet.
- The draw will take place at an establishment of Knightstone Student Communities, within three (3) days of the end of the promotional period.
- Participants who do not comply with these Rules, or who attempt to interfere with this contest in any way will be disqualified.

Notification of Selected Entrants and Prize Claim Conditions
- Selected entrants will be notified by email or phone using the contact information provided or on file, within fifteen (15) days of the end of the promotional period.
- If a selected entrant cannot be reached within five (5) days of being first notified by email or phone, or fails to meet eligibility requirements, or does not correctly answer the skill-testing question, or otherwise fails to comply with these Rules, or fails to return the fully completed and signed declaration and release form at the address specified by Knightstone Student Communities within ten (10) days of the form being sent to the selected entrant by Knightstone Student Communities, the selected entrant will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize, and another eligible entrant will be selected at random in accordance with the process described above.
- Knightstone Student Communities is not responsible in the event that a winner or selected entrant cannot be contacted as a result of having provided incorrect contact details when registering for the in-person or virtual tour, or when submitting their entry.

Privacy and Use of Personal Information
- Personal information collected through the registration for the contest, the in-person or virtual tour will be used to manage the present contest, verify eligibility and contact selected entrants and winners.
- All personal information will be handled in accordance with Knightstone Student Communities’ Privacy Policy, available at www.liveksc.ca/privacy.

General Conditions
- Knightstone Student Communities reserves the right to (i) verify eligibility, verify all entries and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw a prize entitlement and disqualify an entrant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Rules or any instructions forming part of the entry requirements or otherwise where a winner has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the contest or won using fraudulent means ; (ii) to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest in the event of technical or other issues affecting its integrity or that may affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the contest, or (iii) amend these Rules, at any stage, with no liability to any entrants or third parties, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect on entrants in order to avoid undue disappointment. Completing an in-person or virtual tour with Knightstone Student Communities or submission of an entry through the alternative method of entry constitutes acceptance of these Rules.
- Prize winners may be requested by Knightstone Student Communities to take part in reasonable publicity for the promotion and/or their Knightstone Student Communities experience (including by featuring winners’ abbreviated details, including name, image, statement, voice and likeness in Knightstone Student Communities promotional materials).
- This contest is sponsored by Knightstone Student Communities Inc., a corporation with an establishment located at 1001–45 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto, Ontario M4V 1K9.
- To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, participants agree that these Rules shall be governed by the laws of the province of Ontario and that any dispute involving these Rules shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario sitting in the City of Toronto. However, for participants who are consumers residing in the province of Quebec, this clause shall be read as referring to the laws of the province of Quebec and to the courts of Quebec sitting in the judicial district of Montreal or in the judicial district of the participant’s place of residence.
- Limitations of liability and releases. By completing an in-person or virtual tour with Knightstone Student Communities during the promotional period, participants agree, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Knightstone Student Communities Inc., its advertising and promotional agencies, its affiliates and related companies, and each of their respective shareholders, directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, mandataries, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (the “Releasees”) from and against any and all claims, causes of action, demands, loss, injury, damage or liability whatsoever which may arise or occur in connection with or as a result of: (i) participation in this contest or any related activity, (ii) administration of the contest, or (iii) acceptance, use, misuse or possession of a prize. Without limiting the foregoing, the Releasees shall not be responsible for any incomplete or inaccurate information provided by participants; the theft, destruction, loss or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, contest entries or any prize; printing, distribution, programming or production errors, and any other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise; technical, pictorial, typographical or editorial errors or omissions contained herein or in other materials related to the contest; violation of any third party rights, including without limitation any copyright, trade-mark, intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary right in connection with the contest; or delays or other problems in the transmission of contest entries. However, for participants residing in the province of Quebec, this clause shall not apply to any claims, causes of action, demands, loss, injury, damage or liability whatsoever that result solely and directly from the actions of the sponsor or their representatives.
- This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn or any other social media platform where this contest may be promoted. All participants understand that they are providing your information to the sponsor and not to Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn or any other social media platform and that the latter have no liability for any element of this contest.
- Language/Langue: By registering for and completing an in-person or virtual tour in English or by submitting an entry through the alternative method of entry by means of a letter written fully or partially in English, you acknowledge that you have requested to enter into these Rules in English only, to be bound exclusively by the English version of these Rules, and to receive all related documents in English only.
